Introduction
Hello all. I guess your first question would be why "'Exodus"? Zinder which is far of 1000 km of Niamey, is where I came in the world. Niamey is the capital of Niger. I’m 31. I love Zinder even if I do not spend enough time since that my grandmother is deceased. The sultanate of Zinder, which like many other kingdoms in Africa fell completely during the french colonization, still exists but with less authority than formerly. It is approximately in the middle of the 16th century that Zinder started to become an important stop on the routes of the caravans which cross the Sahara desert. What makes nevertheless 500 years of history!
Learning history is my great hobby. Especially the history of old african empires. Unfortunately, what I've done up to now is only to enjoy rare books and the anecdotes of old men. And, I must say that there are not much updated and complete informations about Niger history on the web.
I made the dream and the project of working to fill the vacuum, for the period covering the last thousand years..... Modestly! Hahahahaha.......
The populating, kings and queens, the famous personalities, the important events, the economic and social evolution, the cultural diversity, the colonization, etc… will be some aspects which will be covered by my research. I hope that this blog will offer some usefull informations for the nigeriens, the researchers and the students, and the friends of Niger also.

Even if my first goal has been Zinder, I decided after reflexion to sprawl the field of the research to all areas of Niger.
Your guidance and your support are welcomed. Please excuse my imperfect english. I'm not yet really fluent.
Cheers.
Cheers.
